I switched from Walgreens to Meijer in Springhurst several months ago and I wish I had done it years ago. The pharmacist and staff are always friendly and helpful and I’ve been very lucky that they always have what I need in stock.
This pharmacy has always been customer focused & kind. Today I picked up a script via drive through. I was served by one of the friendliest, happiest & helpful pharmacy employee I’ve ever encountered. My receipt said, “Brian” but the person who helped me was female (African American). Maybe she goes by Brian. I don’t know. I was @ the Towne Ctr Dr. location, 06/26/25 @ 7:21pm. Whoever this person was, needs recognition & appreciation!
Pharmacy is very weird about giving vaccines to people. My pregnant wife was refused the RSV vaccine without a prescription. I signed up for an MMR vaccine, explained on the phone that I had no record of getting one and saw that there are no dangerous side effects to getting it twice, was given the okay to come in. The pharmacist that was there refused to give it to me. 0/10 these people shouldn’t be allowed to have anything to do with medicine.
