I went in for an eye exam and pair of glasses. The optometrist was very unfriendly bordering rude. He had a patient before me and he was extremely nice to him which made me feel even worse. After my exam they had a newer person help me pick out a pair of glasses. She did nothing but jerk me around with the prices with a big smile on her face. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for eye care. The staff is kind and knowledgeable and does the most to save me money
Excellent customer service, they really made me feel like family, however getting the correct prescription was very difficult. At first they were too strong, after a second visit with the optometrist the prescription wasn't strong enough. I went to another optical place and received the correct prescription. So I came back to Meijers optical with the correct prescription and they wanted an extra $78 dollars on top of the $391. They are excellent frames with the wrong prescription. First off I enjoyed my appointment with Dr. John Hook the optometrist, he was very nice, calm, and truly listened to his patients needs and concerns. Outside of the doctor of optometry, I did not appreciate the customer service provided and they lied about my insurance being in network. Meijer optical is very much over priced and a SCAM!! For a pair of glasses and sunglasses each $99.00 they were charging me $900.00 with glasses and lenses and I wouldn’t get my glasses for 2-3 weeks.
