Figured I can finally talk about it but have been embarrassed but I seen this Dr during the time frame between 2020-2021 when we had to wear masks and Dr Ma invaded my personal space and made me feel uncomfortable. I waited 3 months for my appointment. The first thing he said when he came in was why am I seeing you... my doctor told his office why when they did the referral. He asked me limited questions and said he didn't think it was my chiari malformation causing my migraines. He offered no opinion or explanation of why I may be having migraines and he gave me no information about what causes them and maybe what to do to try and help with them. He did put me on an injection for them but never told me or his staff to schedule me anot... read more

Terrible patient care. Patient for 5 years and Dr. Ma had no recollection of treating me, nor did he review my chart prior to the appointment. He spent less than 10 minutes with me, and told me not to waste my time coming in for the next appointment and to schedule it through telehealth.

We contacted the office to get clearance for my fiancees surgery. We were told they needed a referral from the surgeon then the primary care. They didn’t realize that he was already a patient. Once we got them to realize that Dr had seen him in the past, it took several phone calls from us and finally the surgeons office over a 36 hour period to find out if we had to see him in the office before getting the clearance. We never got a phone call directly from the office for the clearance. Very poor communication.

I went in to my appointment for seizures while having an active seizure. They ignored me seizing in the waiting room and waited to call me back until it stopped. When Dr Ma came in it was downhill. He asked me two broad questions and no clarifying questions he just expected me to remember every thing that happens when I have seizure. After a seizure confusion is the only thing you can think of...... He didn't even ask how many and how often I have seizures. All the staff are very nice. Dr. Ma has always listened to me and actually took the time to explain any questions I have or had. He takes the time and doesn't rush you out the door.

Doctor Ma treated me for horrendous migraines that put me in the ER several times. He is very caring and knowledgeable. He is a good listener, patient and kind. His staff are friendly, my appointments were never rushed. After getting the episodes controlled doctor Ma advised my family physician continue my care. I always felt cared for here & highly recommend doctor Ma
