Dr. Elder does more for my sense of well-being than any other doctor that I can remember. She explains the things that concern me with such compassion and kindness, I always leave feeling encouraged—not just about my health, but for my ability to function happily in the world. I appreciate her and all the Kaiser Boulder staff so much!
Excellent care. Dr Elder and her nurse were very thorough, knowledgeable, efficient, and kind. Literally couldn’t be better.
When I became eligible for Medicare, I chose Kaiser’s Senior Advantage program. I picked Dr. Elder by reading bios. I have been pleased with both Elder and Kaiser. In fact, this has been the best medical care of my life. Everyone is happy, wait times are minimal (both for appointments and then in the waiting room), and I get just the amount of care I need. Dr. Elder’s approach is similar to mine. I want someone to tell me when I need tests or treatments, but I don’t want to be overtreated.
I highly recommend Dr Elder. She always makes me feel listened to and addresses all of my concerns. She makes me feel like she is truly interested in me and my well being. She takes her time to address any questions I may have. My minus 1 star is not for Dr Elder but the fact that she seems to adhere to the Kaiser protocol - a template of solutions. I.e. you have insomnia take this pill. Not WHY you have the problem but a drug oriented money saving solution.
Dr. Elder is a breath of fresh air. She comes into the examining room prepared having already reviewed your medical record and formulated good care suggestions. She is bright, thoughtful, considerate and listens to you.
