When I was at the worst of my epilepsy, he gave up on my care and had his nurse practitioner tell me it was a "conversion disorder." I later went to Mayo Clinic and they easily diagnosed it as frontal lobe epilepsy, by looking at my medical history, and the same footage/data I provided Dr. Mehrizi. Arrived for first appointment after a seizure . Appointment at 11am was called back to a room at 2:15pm that's over 3 hour wait. After talking with him he sent out referrals and ask me to see few different doctors for further testing . I asked if FMLA papers could be filled out , He said yes. So I gathered FMLA paperwork paid there 25.00 fee. This was for 30 - 45 coverage for excuses for various appointments. I had to sent messages on my chart after 11 days of waiting. I have been seeing Dr. Mehrizi for a couple of years now. Great doctor and a fine man. He cares about his patients and wants what is best for the patient. Highly recommend.
He is Kind, caring, and has the best bedside manner. Never rushes and likes to know his patients.
