My husband came to Dr. Garala with horrible right-side pain that radiated from his lower back, through his groin and down the front of his leg. He had been suffering for over a month and had seen several doctors in another medical system to no avail. Dr. Garala was very attentive and kind, and was able to analyze the problem in a clear and intelligible manner and gave us advice that was extremely helpful. He impressed us as both an extraordinarily intelligent and very kind person. We recommend him unequivocally.
From the moment Dr. Garala entered the room, I knew he was top notch. He was so well prepared for the visit, having read my records from other IBJI doctors and studied all my recent imaging and procedures. He discussed other options he thought were possible for my situation, including procedures and PT. He even discussed the timing of doing a procedure so as to maximize Medicare payment. Dr Garala treated me for several back issues after a number of falls I had this winter, plus I have arthritis all over. He suggested physical therapy which was quite helpful. My back pain was a concern as I was scheduled to visit family and a seven hour plane ride. He gave me two injections and my back pain was allieviated. He has been super helpful.
