Though excited, I was extremely nervous to have my first Deva cut - however, any apprehension I had was lost nearly the moment I stepped into Mehr's salon. She asked insightful questions about my routine and products and helped me feel comfortable about getting my hair cut. I assumed that I would need a "big chop" to prevent my curls from being weighed down, however she reassured me that a small trim would help with curl definition and shape and that if I wanted more cut after styling she would be happy to oblige. Do you ever meet people that are so genuinely nice that even upon first meeting you can tell how kind they are? Mehr is so sweet, patient and friendly. She is very well versed in curly hair and shares her practices and techniques through the whole process. I had let her know I was still learning how to care for my curls and she took time to show me some tips and tricks on how to condition and dry best.
