My husband had a fall that resulted in two toe infected wounds. When he was admitted to the hospital for intravenous medications, leg ultrasounds showed that he had nobody flow to the infected toes. The attending vein/vascular doctor told us that there wasn't anything they could do. My husband reached out to Dr. Shishehbor, who is his heart & vascular doctor, sending pictures of the infected toes.
