Frightening and Disgusting Found a swash of hair in my mushrooms and onion side. Not just one or two strands, this thing looked like the hair ball that accumulates in the shower drain. After informing the wait staff it took the manager/owner 5+ minutes to come to the table. Without saying anything to me he removed the dish and walked off. ATTN: POTENTIAL MEGLIO CUSTOMERS As a former employee I would not recommend my worst enemies to this restaurant. There are so many health code violations the place should be shut down. I have witnessed on numerous occasions some of the cooks using the bathroom and leaving without washing there hands including the owner. We have sent out numerous meals with meat on the verge of spoiling and were told to "just rinse it off" to get rid of the smell. More Great visits than I can list! I was searching on Google for another biz in the area & noticed Meglio's tag - decided I'd see about posting a review since we haven't been there in a while & miss it - just my way of supporting the restaurant while I'm unemployed & can't eat out much. Again More Lies I can't imagine my restaurant would still be open if things were as bad as this former employee is stating. He is saying a lot but I'm only hearing one thing. I lost my job because I couldn't make it to work on time. I wish these websites would screen the reviews better.
Response to lies I've have never experienced anything like what happened on July 30th in my restaurant. I was in my office when one my servers came to me very concerned. She told me a customer says he found hair in his sauteed mushroom and onions. I promptly proceeded to the dining room very concerned. The customer said he was disgusted with what he found and would like me to take his 95% eaten meal off of his bill.
