I had an image-guided injection and cyst aspiration done by Dr. Sahr this morning. She explained everything prior to the procedure. She was thorough and kind. After a very little pinch when numbing medication was administered, I felt nothing and was surprised when Dr. Sahr said all done because didn’t feel a thing.
Answered questions. Made him aware in advance of any discomfort during the procedure. Performed with competence and care.
Had ultrasound guided cortisone shot. Should have felt relief with numbing med. I was in agony. I never got numb. Was 6 weeks out from total knee replacement. After 15 minutes of sticking me I got a cramp in my leg. I said I needed to move. She said she hadn't put med in yet!! Cortisone take 3-5 mins tops! Husband said I was in there 25 mins. She never talked to me as i cried in pain. I never signed anything before or instructions for after procedure. Stated remarkable improvement in report????
