I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Meghan E. McGinnis at Memorial Hermann Memorial City. During my delivery, several of my personal preferences — including my request for delayed cord clamping — were denied without proper discussion or respect for my wishes. This left me feeling dismissed and unheard during one of the most important moments of my life. Every patient deserves to have their birth plan acknowledged and respected whenever it’s safe to do so.
