Terrible service canceled my trip Then had to purchase a new ticket. And now having trouble getting a refund!!!
Horrible service, horrible communication. You book a ride weeks in advance, and they will cancel it 4 minutes before it leaves. All other options were fully booked for the morning (even those of competitors), so we lost half a day of our weekend trip. Customer service is just an AI robot tape. Via email, they aren't willing to refund the tickets. Questionable morals for a company. If you have the chance, book elsewhere.
I arrived at the station for my Toronto to Niagara Falls trip (11:30 AM - 6:00 PM) only to find Megabus had canceled ALL evening buses without warning! Staff rescheduled me to depart at 12:30 PM and return on the absolute last bus at 4:45 PM. They assured me I’d still have time for my pre-booked 3:00 PM boat tour. I trusted them, but our bus didn't arrive until almost 4:00 PM! I completely missed my tour and had literally minutes to look around before I had to catch the bus back. My entire plan was destroyed. Cancelled less than 3 hours before bus was supposed to arrive twice on a round trip that was booked 3 weeks in advance and didn’t compensate for it in any way. was forced to pay last minute prices 5x the amount and their customer service does nothing to accommodate. sometimes bus doesn’t show up at all and they won’t even refund you. genuinely the worst bus service out there. will leave you stranded wherever you are. will leave you in kingston for 8 hours because their busses aren’t maintained at all. terrible bus service do... read more
