When I arrived, I asked how much the visit would cost. They told me $126. I told them I was going to go home and wait to see if the dog got any worse and if so then I would bring him back. The receptionist told me that I could get his vitals done at no cost and decide at that point if I wanted to see the vet. I told her I would. After an emergent visit today to Med Vet Mandeville, I can honestly say I will recommend them over and over again. From Kaylyn and Michelle at the front, to Dr Edward's and his techs in the back they were all so sweet, comforting, and knowledgeable. They were extremely professional and patient with this scared puppy mama! I'd give them 10 stars if I could!
Please do not go here. We had an animal spayed for $400 and we received a call that it died. We went there because we wanted to see her and were devastated. We were told at that time that we need to pay additional fees. Just unreal! Just wanted to warn others.
Dr. Doyle at MedVet Mandeville, LA operated on my boy and when he started having complications the day after I picked him up MedVet could not contact D. Doyle. They said he is unreachable after leaving the office, and they offered no help. The surgery cost $4,200 and I guess that means you are on your own afterwards. If it wasn't for my local vet I would not have had anyone to turn to. I would not recommend MedVet or Dr. Doyle to my worst enemy.
You are at their mercy and they take you to the cleaners, two bad experiences with them. I pray I never need them again.
RecommendedMy puppy went into anaphylactic shock. The vet and staff were awesome. She’s still recovering but doing much better. We almost lost her and thanks to everyone at Medvet she should fully recover.
Waited 2 hours never was helped. Dr was in other room laughing it up while my dog had a hole in his throat. Left do not recommend. I was one of two patients there.
Early Sunday morning my senior lab was in early stages of passing she went into having seizures so we opted to take her in to be put to sleep! As I am just crying uncontrollably when I walked in the staff was very friendly and got Daisy out of our car for us and immediately sedated her to make her more comfortable. It was a tough morning but they made it more bearable. Thank you for everything Mandeville med vet.
Very quick response as soon as we walked in the door. Greeted by very caring staff , nurse and Doctor. We have been going to MedVet Mandeville for years . Highly recommended.
