I am EXTREMELY disappointed in Medtronic who I have been a loyal customer for for 20years. They somehow think it is acceptable for my pharmacy to have contacted me to alert me that my transmitter was out of warranty. I have been using an out of warranty transmitter for over a year now. I am in my third trimester of pregnancy and require the best blood sugar level control of my life and MEDTRONIC HAVE LET ME DOWN. Why is the sensor inserter so large, clumsy & impossible to see where the needle is going. I'm frequently having bleeds around the needle. Why isn't it the size of the new extended infusion set inserter?
Pump has been great. I few small annoyances but overall it’s amazing and a real life saver.
Could be happier with the 780g never had a pump before and it was the best thing I’ve ever done for my health wish I had done it before
Since moving to the Medtronic 780 pump one year ago, my 9 year old T1D son has been consistently in range >90% of the time and with an HBA1C of between 5.8-6.2. The Medtronic team are lovely and so helpful and go out of their way to support us. Whilst the pump is slightly bigger than its competitors, and tubed, my son doesn’t seem bothered at this point and we are all enjoying how much support it provides him in the background.
