I have been a patient at Medstar hand center for the last few months after having tendon repair and wrist surgery. My case is not an easy one because I have a lot of damage to my wrist(s).Once I started working with my PT Romi, I really felt like I was in the best hands possible, and even though I have had some complications, I have consistently felt listened to and have really felt that I am part of the team and as a patient that feels very reassuring and safe. Romi, one of the physical therapists, is amazing! She was able to rig a neoprene strap so I was able to use my walking sticks with a Volar splint. I sang her praises while hiking up to 8 miles a day with my splint and walking sticks.
I had to have my finger fixed again from a childhood injury. I cannot say enough kind words about this center. Everyone was amazing.
