I chose MedStar Therapy because of the care I got from MedStar hospital during my spine surgery. From the very first day from reception to Therapy sessions every one is super nice and they are happy the you are there. Mike and Bridgette are fantastic. They both listen collaboratively and came up with a wholistic plan to treat my issue not just focusing on where the pain was but treating the underlying causes. It took some time but it was well worth it. I would highly recommend both of them! I would be remiss if I didn’t recognize Chyna and the staff who assist at the end of the appointment with exercises and heat and cold they are awesome also!
Michael Hmara at MedStar Health in Lorton, VA is clearly a five-star physical therapist! He has a deep understanding of body mechanics that he even utilizes to keep himself physically fit. His superior intuition and knowledge along with his ability to clearly explain his therapy and exercises serves to optimize patient outcomes. His exercises are “spot on” in helping patients build strength and heal successfully.
The entire Team at the Med-Star Physical Therapy Center makes you feel good the minute you walk through the door. They are some of the friendly most professional group of people I have ever been treated by. I was there last year for a pinched nerve after seeing another PT for over a month with no relief in sight I made appointment and in a matter 2 weeks (4) visits, Mike had me feeling about 80% and with (2) more visits I was back normal.
