My physical therapist, Kalie Nielson, is great. I went to her for 2 different conditions. The first initially was very painful and it limited my ability to walk without pain. After only under 10 session I am now pain free. I do exercise as she suggested and continue to be pain free. The second condition was not as painful so after only 2 sessions with exercises I do at home I no longer have pain. I would recommend her for any condition.
The staff are very friendly and professional. They also clearly know what they're doing. I've made a lot of progress working with them. MedStar needs to invest more in the physical plant. They need to have a functioning water fountain instead of relying on tiny plastic bottles of water.
Cody treats his patients with respect and care. He recommends exercises that help you heal and improve mobility and range of motion. He makes sure you understand the exercises by monitoring you doing them at PT before heading home to work on your own. He explains thoroughly which muscles are benefitting from each exercise. I was extremely pleased with my PT with Cody at Chevy Chase.
