Terrible Terrible practice. I went in for an evaluation. Zero physical therapy was provided, and I was billed for an extra "Medical Service" code in addition to several Rehabilitation Therapy codes. This practice was closer, but they have billed me 6x compared to a different PT location, and they spent less than half the time with me. I asked for a upfront estimate, and the receptionist refused to give this to me. This seems to be a case of fraudulent billing practices.
My experience at this center has been incredibly positive. Lauren is one of the most professional, educated providers I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. She has made my journey with pelvic floor physical therapy extremely comfortable, informative, and effective, and I would recommend her to anyone exploring this therapy. She is highly conscientious with all sensitive questioning and physical assessments/exams. Thank you to Lauren and all staff who have made my experience so seamless!
I had a great experience with Medstar PT at Ballston. I had some pain in my glutes so I was referred to have PT. I have heard good things about this practice so I wanted to try it out. Since I am a runner, I was assigned Melissa. Melissa did a great job at diagnosing the issue and coming up with a PT plan. She is very thorough and explains everything so you can easily perform the exercises. I would definitely recommend this practice and Melissa if one has PT needs.
Excellent staff and facilities, communicative and attentive to needs, would recommend.
