Never again will I call 911 and take the chance at having Medstar Ambulance Service show up at my door, along with the two rude, non empathetic paramedics, who were working the afternoon and evening shift on January 31, 2026. I will gladly die in my apartment alone, before I’ll ever be subjected to the manner in which I was disrespected, and made to feel inadequate.
Came to pick up my wife who passed out. I had to get aggressive with the crew just for them to put a pair of sweats and a shirt on her since she was only in a night gown. They were very rude and honestly unprofessional. I work for an ambulance service myself and would never recommend these people.
Was treated rudely. Told i was my imagination, once in ER was told i was in Afib, severe kidney infection, lung infection. Htn and tachycardia. But it was in my head. Will NEVER recommend medstar
Medstar will take your insurance money then state they don't contract with insurance then bill you for the rest. The largest employer in the town and they don't take that insurance? Bull. They just want to keep people paying. I say take them all to court and make them pay everyone back. Class action lawsuit.
A month ago I was in need of an ambulance and when they came by I was treated rudely by a guy and I had my medical documents with me so the attending physician at the hospital would understand more about my condition. Of course he had to ask me questions but he argued with me even though I had my medical documents to prove what was wrong. He is very unprofessional
