Continually understaffing there 911 Contracts and trying to pull miracles with longer response times. I have followed Medstar trying to make calls two towns over. The private ambulance is never a good choice in a 911 system. You get untrained/under trained personnel, crappy equipment, and they refuse to honor request for hospitals other than in Worcester. God help the residents and visitors to Grafton, Millbury and Sutton. BTW They have been charged twice by the US Government in the past ten years for Medicaid billing fraud.
I have alot of contact with the employees of this service due to my job. Until recently I never thought about all the hard work these people do day and night. Until recently when I needed to be transported to the hospital. The staff was professional, knowledgeable and comforting during my own personal health crisis. MED STAR IS THE BEST!! Thanks to everyone who made me feel ok to be ill and to need some help.
