Went in for a vitamin D shot since I had tested low in my latest blood work. I was injected with what was supposed to be 100k IU of vitamin D but had no change when I repeated my blood work a week later. The clinic suggested that my bones absorbed all 100,000 units and that is why my vitamin D levels were unchanged.
