I had surgery a few weeks ago. I had a need for MedRide. The driver was on-time even on a very early, snowy morning. The mini-SUV felt safe, and was as clean as a limousine. But best part of all with my first MedRide experience was my driver Alice. She was a real treat, like having my own personal chauffeur! Today marks the 3rd time medride has made me so late for an appointment that I have to pay a no show fee and lose an appointment I've waited 6 months for. The driver never stopped making excuses. They tried picking me up 5 minutes away from my actual address and still showed up 20 minutes later. I am 30 minutes late for my appointment. The driver tried to say it took time 15 minutes to enter an address into Google maps... how in the world does it take 15 minutes to type 20 characters? No one updated my address. I really love this company. They perform one of the most valuable services possible for us that need medical care. I'm on a liver transplant list and my hospital is in Denver and they've been truly amazing. Great drivers and excellent service on the phone. One may ask after all of these kudos why only the 3 star rating? The ONLY reason I don't give them 5 stars is the wait times when you call to arrange a ride. Why is it OK that other people can get dropped off and picked up from Costco and do shopping yet when I need my glasses or meds to be picked up I get denied by other drivers and joseph their lead tells me it’s not allowed, such a discriminatory and nepotism based company. Unbelievable how that is allowed
I had such a comfortable and safe ride today. Nancy Trijilo was my driver this afternoon and she was an absolute delight! She was professional and welcoming. She was completely focused on my safety and the safety of the road for the entire ride. I appreciate the great drivers MedRide hires!
