We went to this place for about six months... driving from Dallas before work every morning. Our first day, the doctor discussed my medical information with my partner, and then told him, "I wouldn't bet my house on your recovery"... I filed a grievance about this and never heard another thing about it. The place is nice, the office people and nurses are not. This facility is Not only poorly ran, the counselor actually borrowed money from me her patient and then never paid me back. Today was their most ridiculous display of their version of treatment. I had stopped at a wreck which is required by law. It meant I was going to be late by 1 minute. Not only did they refuse to give me my daily dose, I was unable to pick up the additional doses that were provided for the family trip we are leaving tonight for. New Owner has messed up our hope & faith for this place.. this place saved my life, but now a lot of lives will be lost due to new owner taking away life path funding. Without funding, most of us can’t afford treatment, which will lead to a lot of clients, fearing of Methadone withdrawals. Which will cause most of us to go back to using heroin or fentanyl, which will take a lot of our lives, and a lot of kids will lose their parents. Clinic is taking away important funding & now a lot of us are going to be left with nothing. Selfishness of new owner I’m guessing. I would hate to lose my sobriety over this.
