I was seen promptly by Dr Michele De Sciscio, I had my referral sent and was booked in within a week. Dr Michele listened to my health concerns and symptoms and went through treatment options. As for the female receptionist she was absolutely horrid. My husband and myself sat there listening to her speak rudely to people on the phone and constantly complaining about her work. My experience with Dr Eddie Cheong was incredibly dissapointing. He was dismissive of relevant medical evidence, unprofessional and openly undermined other treating professionals. His manner lacked empathy and respect, and showed prejudice against individuals of diverse identities (including sexual orientation and gender identity). I would not feel comfortable returning and do not recommend his care.

The receptionists are so rude, I was doing the right thing calling to cancel my appointment due to other health problems and both ladies I had to deal with were quite rude… like I was putting them out that I called, don’t think I’ll be calling back to hear their “happy” voices again.

What a shocking way to make a call to Medplus. I needed to wait over a minute listing to a message of irrelevant (to us) information; none of it applied to our needs. A horrible, regrettable experience. We will contact another rheumatologist. Whatever happened to customer/patient service. Clearly it does not exist at Medplus
