I wanted to wait a bit to post a review to gather my thoughts and provide a overall review of the entire experience. My rat went in for a tumor removal which was actually very reasonable. But more importantly while i can't breakdown what was right technically any better than a goldfish can explain the nuances of flight I can say that Medlin instilled confidence in me to make the decision to go ahead with the removal. Amazing from beginning to end. The staff was very friendly and answered any questions I had. Felt very comfortable leaving my gecko in their care
Bear in mind, this experience happened in December 2024 and I should have reviewed back then but sat on it for whatever reason. I feel like telling a story today, I guess. To be fair, this visit and the ensuing conflict afterwards still pisses me off to this day. Called to schedule a euthanasia for a senior guinea pig that stopped eating. (Emergency situation for those that are unaware.) They said they couldn't get her in for a week. LMFAO. She suffered for another day or so, started having seizures and died at home. Saved me a few hundred bucks, I suppose. Called again, today, to schedule an appt for another senior guinea pig who's squeeling in pain when she urinates and has a history of bladder stones. We are new patients to this location. Brought in my son's bearded dragon (General) and his guinea pigs (Cookie & Cream). The staff was extremely nice and knowledgeable. The doctor took his time and gave them a complete check up. You do have to pay before they make your appointment but the payment goes towards the visit so I didn't end up having to pay anything extra, except the vitamin we needed for our guinea pigs. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a good vet/staff with friendly faces.
