Red flags all around with the restaurant. I really wanted to leave a good review for this place since our waitress was great but unfortunately I left upset to say the least. My spouse and I came here because I was given a gift card about a year ago and decided I wanted to try the restaurant. The food is great. Honestly it’s the ONLY reason I come back. The waitresses there are so rude! I have yet to have a pleasant experience with them so I stopped going in to eat and just order to go and they continue to have no respect or care. They look annoyed. Im guessing they pre-judge people and treat the ones they think won’t tip like crap. Jokes on them. I tip very well but you actually have to be a decent person to get it. Such a shame. I ordered spinach soup at Mediterraneo in Alpine and I have been sick ever since.
Service was excellent, however the food was just meh and disappointing. The calamari was delicious, however the lasagna, meatball sandwich, the kobe sliders, and the burger, didn't have any real flavor aside from the burger having a burnt taste. It was not worth the price. The server said they have new owners, do not know if that has anything else to do with it.
Great food. The only good place to eat in Alpine !!! Perod !!
