Stairlift design defective -- did not fit my stairs. Manufacturer kicked me to installer who kicked me back to manufacturer, repeat until warranty expired. Terrible customer service. If you buy one of these, hope it works because you will be on your own. Finally donated mine to charity and bought a Bruno which so far, seems to work well.
