Early in March this place prevented visitors due to Covid-19, now there are housing Covid patients, if this can make it from China surely it can spread there.
My mother spent two weeks here for rehabilitation to only pass away 20 minutes after she got released! 😡😡😡 She was coughing and could hardly talk or breathe. Why they released her to go home and not back to the hospital is beyond me! This happened Wednesday. Had to make funeral arrangements yesterday. I’m not done with this place! We will be in contact over this matter! If I can help it, this won’t happen again with someone else’s loved one!
Severely understaffed for customers who are paying in excess of 5Gs a month to be CARED for... my Mother who is completely alert and oriented who is attempting to rehabilitate after a critical illness frequently spends >60 minutes in her own soiled clothing/briefs with a foley in as she is still to weak to walk to the bathroom without assistance. My Father got a UTI there that was ignored and died of Septic Shock a few Days after he got there. He was rushed to HFH Macomb and the ER people said this kind of awful care is common there. We had no idea he had an infection. He went there for some Physical Therapy. When we saw him there he was very tired and couldn’t come to. We also think they Drugged him becuz they are short Staffed. He was Loved and we Miss Him Very Much.

The building is older and the food is not great but the staff is awesome especially Felicia. My 94-year-old mother broke her sacrum and had difficulty walking they got her up on her feet in no time at all.
