Medicine Shoppe is closed now. It will open on Monday at 9:00 a.m.
The Medicine Shoppe The Medicine Shoppe is your typical small town pharmacy. Locally owned and operated, it closes early during the week (6 p.m., I think) and is not open on Sundays. However, it does offer delivery within the city of Urbana. They accept many forms of insurance. In addition to medicine, they offer wheelchairs and oxygen. Parking is limited to a few spaces.
The Medicine Shoppe is the best pharmacy in the City! All employees are professional and personable ! You are treated with respect not like another number. Lynn M.
If we lived closer, this would be our only drug store. Great service We currently go to our local independent pharmacy since it is in our hometown.

Only locally owned and operated pharmacy in town! The Medicine Shoppe is located on the east side of town, conveniently located across from the hospital. A couple years ago, it changed hands, but it is still the only locally owned and operated pharmacy in town. And the service is still good. You can get prescriptions, wheelchairs, etc. You would have to check and see if it accepts your insurance. One drawback is that it closes early in the evenings--6 p.m., I think.
