I absolutely love Dr. Dunning and his staff. Prior to finding The Medicine Man Veterinary Hospital, I had been to several in the Conover/Hickory/Newton area, but none of them felt quite right. At the recommendation of a friend, I took my sweet and very sick pup (10 years old) to see Dr. Dunning and he was able nurse her back to health! Dr. Dunning and his staff are very thorough. They searched for answers and provided treatment for my puppy when another local vet told me to quit worrying and to “go home and enjoy your puppy”. Dr. Dunning gets down on the floor to greet my precious puppy, and she loves him! Bobbie calls me to see how my pup is doing. What other veterinary office does that? I can’t say enough good things about this practice.
Dr. Dunning and all of his staff are absolutely amazing. They are kind, compassionate, and non-judgemental.
