Dr. Appel is a fantastic physician. I have been working with him for several years as my primary care physician and he truly cares about his patients. He actually listens, is thoughtful and reflective, and proactive with his treatment and care plans. He consistently looks out for his patients and attempts to work within insurance constraints, including ones he has no say over (like prescription medication). He will always look out for his patients' best interests and I trust him completely with my healthcare.
