As a family member of someone who died, I’m happy with the experience I had with the medical examiner here. I felt as though they were professional and did their due diligence. I even had an opportunity to speak to the Doctor Who performed the autopsy, and she was really empathetic and took 45 minutes to explain everything to me over the phone, which was really really kind.
The way my grieving family has been talked to and treated by the staff here is appalling. They made us jump through so many hoops to find out information just to then tell us they would not tell us anything anyway. The woman on the phone was one of the rudest people I have ever talked to even when I was not heartbroken about the untimely passing of my only sibling. They should be ashamed of themselves.
