I brought my old walker in and tape style diapers,and my light weight cane and donated them . I was able to get 2 pkgs of XL women's underwear pullups for myself in exchange and a heavyweight cane for my bodyweight and height and am quite satisfied with the help I received from the volunteer.
Great way to save money. Please return the equipment when no longer needed. Other people are waiting for the return of needed equipment as well.
For months, I was in denial about needing a rollator for my Long COVID, which appears to be progressive. It was difficult for me to admit that I had reached a point where I needed this kind of assistance.
