I don’t write many reviews, but I felt compelled to after my experience with the billing at this lab so that other people can be aware of some of the issues that can arise. My provider used this lab for two tests (same test two different visits) and I was billed for them. I asked to be put on a payment plan because it was not an affordable expense for me to pay at once and they said they set me up on a plan. Unprofessional. No one gave a clear answer about the regular blood test bill details. The bill was very high, and when I returned to the doctor, she said this bill was not correct. I had just asked for a regular blood test, which should be fully covered by insurance, and no one at the lab gave any clear information.

This laboratory billed my insurance an insane amount for standard tests that are typically billed at much lower costs, causing my insurance to actually tell me they thought this was a scam- reach out to MDL for more info- which they refuse to provide despite my reaching out to them several times over MONTHS. Their email communication is useless. I’m disappointed in my provider for utilizing this lab for testing, will no longer be seeing the provider. Avoid this lab at ALL COSTS.

Useless customer service and billing department. Sent me bills with just amount to pay without any code or service descriptions. I called their billing department twice and each time they promise to send me paper mails and emails with itemized detailed descriptions of the service they are billing me for. Never received any itemized statements whatsoever, meanwhile keep receiving invoices every few days. Unfortunately my doctor picked this worthless lab.
