I always have a terrible experience whenever I try to get my prescriptions refilled. I’m a type 1 diabetic who is insulin dependent which means I need insulin everyday. Whenever my pharmacey needs a “PA”-prior authorization from Dr. Shah, it takes several days for that process to get done. Now the PA process I have no control of because it’s required by my medical insurance company and I have no way of knowing it’s needed until I place a refill.
