I've gotten blood work done here before on multiple occasions but now suddenly for some reason I've gotta go all the way to Lejeune like 3 months into the future, because now suddenly you can't draw blood? Doc Brown and Commander are good docs, and always help out but the civilian employees can definitely be dismissive of any issues you may have.
Why does this place exist as medical if no one is there and all the nurses take lunch at the same time. You have to go in on their time when they decide to work, the place is a ghost town after 1000 AM. For anything outside 7-10 you have to go all the way to Lejeune ER.
Tried to call and make an appointment because i tore a calf muscle yesterday and the ER couldn’t diagnose me so they said to call the next morning but the woman who answered the phone at new river medical was extremely rude. did not want to hear what i had to say when i said i wanted to schedule an appointment. when i tried to explain my situation she kept interrupting me saying i need to walk in to schedule an appointment, without even taking any of my information down. i tried to explain i can’t walk but kept saying i need... read more
probably the worst medical facility in the dod couldn’t get a simple appointment for back pain for over a month and always a horrible attitude
