My amputation level is knee disarticulation on both legs.Unlike above-knee amputations, the femur is not transected, and the knee joint is disarticulated. And with that amputation the end of the femur can be sensitive if not fitted correctly, but they have worked hard to find solutions for me and I am so thankful to have met Thomas and Greg. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The MCOP got me out of a pinch out of the kindness of their hearts. I came from Oklahoma to learn a new trait, and midway through my training, my leg broke.. IN HALF. I gave them a call and asked for help. Even though they were fully booked. They had decided to give it a look. Their response to my leg was, "WOW, not sure if this is fixable, but we're gonna try. I have been a amputee for over 25 years, 40 plus prosthetic legs have been made for me over the years (bbyothers) and for the past 3 years I have had the most amazing and comfortable legs ever built thanks to MCOP. The expertise and knowledge that both Thomas and Greg provide are second to none. They truly care for their patients and are always willing to listen and present new ideas and technologies to ensure comfort no matter the task at hand.
