Bird Owners Beware! One of, if not the most expensive Avian vets in the Bay area (even beyond) you will walk out with a large bill, and your bird may not get care from a certified avian vet. Furthermore, they may miss obvious signs as they did with us, that are on the top list of illnesses - not once, not twice, but with three exams and a large bill later. RecommendedHighly recommend! The staff is so caring. I went through having two birds pass away on me after having them for a week. With the help of the Medical Center for Birds we quickly found out what happened to those birds. The two birds we current have, are healthy and have been with us for 2 months now! I’ve been to many avian vets and ALL of the people who work in this practice are absolutely the best i’ve ever encountered. I’m now spoiled now because no one can even come close to the professionalism and the honest loving care that they give to all of their patients and the families.
Very crewing staff took great care of George when I had to board him
We have been coming here for years. They have always taken expert care of us and our flock. The office is a bit off the beaten path, but worth the trip.
I would take my own birds to be treated with any of the GREAT avian veterinarians at MCB. I know they practice the highest standard of care.
Very knowledgeable about birds, very caring, willing to take time to talk to you and listen. Classes are offered too. I appreciate that.
