I'll call a taxi before I call these guys again. Crawled down the street and 5MPH, sat in the truck for 2 min putting on masks before even getting out (though they should have already been wearing them), very careless and acted like they didn't even know what they were doing. A taxi will get there 3 times faster (even under the speed limit), 5 times cheaper, better bedside manner and probably way more educated as paramedics than this grandma and grandpa duo is. Horrible patient services to my family member and extremely mean, volatile, rude, and abusive language and behavior towards myself over the telephone. EMT S. M. (female) was verbally abusive and threatening to me via telephone. She (EMT) was aggrandizing her self by assumed authority over the family’s request. As a Registered Nurse who works in an EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT, the call was not an Emergency! She simply hung up on me as I was attempting to get my family member best taken care of.
