Very very horrible hospital my cousin was put here a while ago and the on shift staff were not assessing my cousins needs and talking about patients my cousin has battled depression for her whole life and her getting admitted her by another hospital was bad she flipped on staff got frustrated and things ended in police hands and was sent to jail my cousin did not deserve that very very disrespectful staff I regret ever knowing about this place and the fact that she got sent here is the worse so thank you to you Susan because... read more

I have reviewed Prescott’s reviews. As the current CEO of MBHNA, I can see that those writing reviews would not work with the management in their respective department and were given a chance after a chance to follow the company policy and proved unable to follow basic rules. Medical Behavioral Hospital is a great place to work if you work hard and follow the policies. This place is horrible. My Mom (who had moderate dementia) was there for two weeks in October 2022. The staff was mean and cruel to her and not helpful at tall. They did not know what they were doing and actually made things worse. One of the aides actually rolled her eyes repeatedly whenever my Mon said anything while I was there visiting. Her being there will haunt me for the rest of my life. I should have gotten her out sooner. Luckily she went to Yavapai Regional Medical Center after. They were wonderful and caring.

If I could I’d give it NO STARS! DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!!! This facility is medication based! Not therapy based, think twice before you voluntarily admit yourself here…. Because they can still hold you if you want to leave once you find out your not going to receive the help you thought you were going to get.

Terrible place to work at. Disrespectful attitude to stuff, horrible attitude to patients. No help, only making people's conditions worse.
