I had a similar experience as Tsjuri, so treat the facility's response with a grain of salt. I found the staff at the Kingston facility to be fabulous. The nurses, PA's , receptionists are all first rate. My doctor was also the head of the facility, and I found him to be rude and obnoxious, My left leg goes numb when I sit, indicating an anterior Lumbar herniation. When I asked him for a referral to neurologist or an MRI, he snapped at me, and said "your 68 years old, what do you expect". That's a direct quote, and I stand b... read more

4 months ago, while in the middle of an emergency, I was treated with rudeness and unprofessional behavior by both the nurse and the receptionist at the Phoenicia office. So of course I switched my PC to a different office. Now, I needed to make an appointment with Dr Tack, as a specialist. He refuses to see me claiming I was the one being rude and so 'not a good fit for the practice' (even though I had good experiences less than a month ago in the Kingston office). I called to schedule my first appointment and was immediately prompted to text instead. Since this was my first appointment, I held for a person. The representative I reached was snippy and only directed me to their website— I had to ask for the URL. She stated they required a referral with a diagnosis (I’m being referred to them for a diagnosis), complete records, and that the doctor would then decide whether or not to schedule me. Rheumatologist, Dr Weitz is my doctor and has been a life saver. He listens to my concerns and thoughtfully talks to me, which is very reassuring! I highly recommend him!
