After taking so long to even get to a person, the scheduler was fine, then transferred me to a “tech” support to unlock my account. I am HOH and the background noise was so loud I could not hear her. I hung up. Horrible experience.
Can't even make appts when you need to. What's the point of having a system to "help make things easier" and IT'S HARDER TO MANAGE?
Truly far, far worse than you'd ever expect any functioning company ever could be. Apparently all this year so far, there's been an issue with some of the transportation companies being overbooked, so they send the order back to MedAnswering, saying for them to reassign the ride to another provider, they can't take it. Over the past two months, EVERY ride I have scheduled has been sent back to MedAnswering by the transport provider to be re-assigned due to limited availability, and rather than reassigning the ride, MedAnswering drops the ball and cancels my ride outright with no notice. So I am left standing outside in subzero temps clueless, and my providers have me not showing up with no notice. I really wish you guys could do better, this is far worse than just not providing the service at all.
This place is garbage the only way to get a trip booked half the time is to have your Dr's office call and even my physical therapist it took them 3 days to schedule my appointments and they always sound like you are bothering them when you call i was told last week I couldn't book my ride for tomorrow Monday the 5th because they were only scheduling emergency visits,now how do you know that a week in advance now its Sunday night and im going to miss my appointment in the morning because they told me to call back at 7 in the... read more
