Only provider in the area. Issues every month multiple times of internet dropping cause of outage or being told a technician needs to come out and it doesnt fit anything only for the bill to keep going up, and uses outages as an excuse to throttle internet. If I didn't need internet I wouldn't be using them, my family is very disappointed.
If you are a business and your internet stops working meaning you’re losing money by the minute, good luck getting ahold of a technician to come out same day!
Mediacom is our area's primary provider, and while I've had issues dependant on location, when the tech and staff are on your side it's a mostly pleasant experience. For example, Krysten at our Milton location has been nothing but fantastic to work with on solving issues and has provided great service, same with our tech T.J. However we have had other techs come out and be dismissive, even when there's a genuine issue present. I have so many videos and pictures of my service going out that my phone now has a folder. I feel bad for the techs because they basically have no power to do anything. Apparently my apartment complex has wiring issues that cause too much noise over the lines and after getting my landlords approval I am still being told that I need to get the property managers approval (which I have a screenshot of) I have talked to customer service so many times that I have my own script that I use to combat theirs since they constantly try... read more
I’ve had this internet service for 6 years now. Straight garbage. I’ve tried and tired to get a different service, but theres no one else available in my area.
