I'm genuinely curious how a whole internet provider doesn't have a failsafe in place. I've worked with a few internet providers and there is always a backup. Why don't you all have one?

If you want to run a successful business, with happy customers and happy employees, I would suggest ANYONE other than Mediacom. I couldn’t even guess at how many thousands of dollars worth of sells I’ve missed out on over the past 3 months due to Mediacom. You’re lucky if your internet only goes down ONCE a day. I’m not exaggerating when I say my internet cuts out AT LEAST once a day, usually multiple times. Worst company ever. Hardly any customer support. They told me one price then charged me more than what I've been told. Service is constantly going out. If I pay for a service it should always work not just here and there. I just moved back and I hate I had no other options than mediacom as soon as cspire or another fiber optic company is available in my area mediacom is done. Terrible service but they've lived up to their name. Avoid if you can.
