I would not recommend this internet provider. They have a monopoly on my neighborhood so I am forced to move to Star Link to get reliable service. My internet was out for the entire month of April. Dozens of calles with customer service, had several maintenance appointments. The worst part were all of the appointments they didn't keep two times I waited all day for them to come repair my internet, no show. I can't give 0 stars unfortunately but this is the probably the WORST ISP in all of ridgecrest with their terrible pricing and above all lack of service when you actually need it.

I am posting from my neighbors account, they seem to have gotten my previous comments taken down or hidden. But I’m over on Beth LN and have been without internet since March 15, 2026. So 60 + Days. At the 33 day mark they finally sent out maintenance, which they told me was going to be within 72 hours of the technician service because, he had to put in a ticket, and that’s just how this stuff works. Horrible connections with the most expensive internet package ($130) a month for internet alone. Was a customer for three years and can say we have had many internet outages and very poor connection/ download speeds. Unfortunately, this company is the only provider in certain areas of town, so you have no choice. Race Communications provides the same exact speeds but with fiber and only $53 a month. We switched and if you have a choice choose any provider other than medicom.
