Mediacom is deplorable and should be avoided. Two years, $110 a month for internet that doesn't work. Verizon home internet couldn't have come any quicker.
I can say I get the gig speeds but not without issues. Contacted support and asked them to reprovision my modem due to the logs showing clear upstream profile instability and they told me it is not supported, even though mediacom has the netgear cm3000 on there bring your own device page. These are not problems that can be fixed by the individual and it is a waste of time for them to send a tech out for something that they likely will have no fix for...
I paid my monthly fee late in September 2025 due to credit card expiration on auto pay. I paid all charges in October 18, 2025 while resetting auto pay with a valid credit card on the same day. why I was charged for late fees for November again in my bill?
