Spotty service at best. Have had no internet for 48 hours and they never reached out, notified, or offered their customers anything to compensate for the missed days of service… nope.
Customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. Their app and website is even worse. Yeah they're cheap but I guess you get what you pay for. I've been trying for 6 weeks to figure out what my due date is for my mobile service and I have yet to figure it out. Nobody can give me a straight answer. Unbelievable.
Mediacom is deplorable and should be avoided. Two years, $110 a month for internet that doesn't work. Verizon home internet couldn't have come any quicker.
I can say I get the gig speeds but not without issues. Contacted support and asked them to reprovision my modem due to the logs showing clear upstream profile instability and they told me it is not supported, even though mediacom has the netgear cm3000 on there bring your own device page. These are not problems that can be fixed by the individual and it is a waste of time for them to send a tech out for something that they likely will have no fix for...
