They got some kind of Monopoly. Good old boy back door deal with the city. They're the only ones that are allowed to have the high speed that I need for residential. No other company is allowed to have the high-speed that I need for residential. They're only allowed high-speed for businesses. Therefore, there's no competition and they're the only ones you can go with if you need that high speed like I do therefore keeping prices up should be a class action lawsuit either on the city or Mediacom cuz this is bs ... Garbage company. I have had techs out 15 times in 2 years, internet still goes out daily. The tech supervisor now says we can not help you. They see the problem but have no idea how to fix it.

$165 and it’s down several times a week. When you call, they just say, “we’ll send a technician.” Technicians help with coverage in the house, but can’t really help with the constant outages since they affect everyone. This ends up in a constant cycle of, “outage -> call -> schedule technician -> they come out but can’t fix the root problem -> outage.” My bill used to be $120, but then promos fell off, and now it’s $165. Paying this much for this often of outages is insane.
