I just recently got mediacom about a month ago, ive been having plenty of random disconnects every 30mins-5hours n cuts out for a good 1-10mins, ontop of being crappy, ive been having alot of random Amazon password recovery's or trying to log-in, i dont even have Amazon for this number, n i did a reverse search on the persons phone and its coming directly from the mediacom building, can you explain this?
Sorry I should not be so harsh but it is the truth it’s constantly out and my neighbors have the same issue and I know it… anytime it goes out and I call. 1. Never gets fixed over the phone. 2. They always say “hmm that’s weird, everyone else out there seems to have no issues” and 3. It always leads to them having to send a tech out when it gets fixed by me,myself and I a couples of hours later..
Most unreliable wifi in Marshalltown! Do yourself a favor and switch to Metronet!!!!
I suppose the most important thing is that I got internet service. However, I was late with my first bill because I was supposed to have been set up for autopay and was not. I also accidentally gave them my old phone number, my fault. But, when I corrected my mistake as I was still in the office, the guy put my new number in as a secondary number. If I need codes for my account, they got sent to my old phone number and was difficult to correct the issue.
