On Thursday, January 2, I visited the Mediacom Extreme office to make a payment on behalf of my grandmother. Unfortunately, my experience with one of the customer service representatives fell well below the level of professionalism I expected. Late technicians and astronomical prices for sub-par connection. Check your invoices. They're probably charging you for more equipment that you dont have.
Called and asked for no modem, since you can't take it off on the website. Agent assured me technician won't install it. Technician Katrel insisted on installing it, promised to come back and pick it up, and then never did. Called support, and they said he never should have installed it... **UPDATE: they sent me another modem i didnt ask for, so they could charge me for it, despite me using my own equipment!! WORST ISP EVER!
