Worst experience ever. Have had mediacom for over 10 years. Got tired of the crazy prices compared to what new customers get so talked to someone making sure my current bill was paid up. Told yes your good for another week. I verified 3x and kept the messages where I was told yes. I said okay I want to cancel now so I'm not charged anymore and that I found another provider. Lightning strike took out router. Came out and replaced same day free of charge. Too easy 😊
Wifi goes in and out. They continue to increase your bill every few months. Looking at other options now. A plan with only internet should never be more than $100/mo Adding to my review. They said my payment last month couldn't go through (I know for a fact there was enough money because I saw the pending charge and there was money). Then they took my card off autopay which caused another late payment. Didn't contact me once about it. Absolute worst customer experience I've ever had in my life.
I have had many different service providers in different parts of the country and these guys are the absolute worst. My internet cuts out multiple times nearly every day. If I weren’t likely to move soon, I would drop them for a different provider. They are terrible!
My wifi is out every other weekend. Simply unplugging and plugging back in doesn’t usually fix it, I have to get on the line with a rep or robot. I’m so tired of wasting time on the phone for a service that should just work. I’ve never had issues like this with any other provider.
